​I've spent most of my life fascinated by one question...

Is there more to life than meets the eye?

That question has quietly guided everything I have created.

When I was twelve, I lost my father. In a single moment, the world I knew cracked open, leaving me with questions I had no language for. Where does someone go? What remains? Is there more to life than what we can see?

I searched for answers through philosophy, meditation, and silence. None of them offered certainty, but each brought me closer to something I could feel, even if I couldn't explain it.

My education at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education in Pondicherry nurtured that inner inquiry from an early age. After my studies, I moved to Auroville, where a life centred around creativity, nature, and conscious living felt like a natural continuation of that journey.

Then I discovered painting.

Or perhaps, painting discovered me.

For the first time since losing my father, something within me became profoundly still.

To this day, I never begin a painting with a fixed idea. I simply become quiet, listen, and allow the painting to reveal itself. Every work is born through a dialogue with the unknown—an exploration of those invisible aspects of life that cannot always be seen, yet can be deeply experienced.

Over the years, I've stopped trying to explain where my paintings come from.

Instead, I've learned to trust the mystery.

Each painting is an invitation—not to understand, but to experience.

If, in spending time with my work, you find yourself pausing, seeing a little more deeply, or reconnecting with a part of yourself that had quietly been waiting to be noticed, then the painting has already fulfilled its purpose.
